Do you struggle to identify personal goals, or don’t have goals at all? Feel like you have no ambition or dreams, but everyone around you has? Consequently, you feel like a failure, unhappy and disappointed in yourself.

Well, it’s most likely that everyone has felt like this at some stage in their life. Our journeys are never smooth and have plenty of ups and downs. The good news is though, having no goals, hopes, dreams or ambition is something that can be fixed and today I’ll show you how.

Help: I Don’t Have Goals! How Do I Find Some?

Having goals helps to keep you moving forward, inspired and dreaming about a positive future. Powerful motivational tools, goal setting and the use of associated affirmations can help make significant positive changes to your daily life.

It all starts with you sitting down and thinking about the things you want to achieve in life. A good way to do this is to make a list of the things you don’t like and use these to help create goals which are the direct opposite. From here, you then decide how you will measure this goal to know if you have met it yet. This is followed by identifying the hurdles you may come across and what you can do to limit their impact. Next you list the reasons why you want to achieve this goal and a date you want to achieve it by.

It may look like goal setting is a lot of work and that if you don’t have goals, things would be easier. But this isn’t the case. I’ve created a free downloadable goal setting worksheet that will walk you through these steps and make goal setting a breeze!

Take Action on Your Goals to Move Forwards

Once you’ve identified your goals, it’s time to take action towards achieving them. Initially you’ll be super motivated and eager to work on them. As time passes though, you may find your motivation and drive dips and you struggle to keep the momentum moving forwards.
